Protecting your data is important to us

We appreciate your interest in our company, products and services and we want you to feel safe when browsing our website and regarding the protection of your personal data. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. For us, compliance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act is a matter of course.

We would like you to know when we collect data, which data we collect and how we use this data. We have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that the data protection regulations are complied with by us and our external service providers.

Personal data

Personal data refers to information that identifies you personally. This includes information such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address. You are free to explore our website without providing any personal information. In certain cases, however, we will ask for your name and address as well as other information when we need this to deliver the service you are asking us for.

This also applies, for example, whenever we are sending informative materials, ordered products or answering individual questions. We will point this out accordingly where required. Furthermore, we only save and process data you have provided voluntarily or that is collected automatically.

If you make use of our services, we typically only collect the data required to deliver the requested services. If we ask you for further data, then this information is voluntary. We will process your personal data exclusively in order to provide the requested service and for our legitimate business interests.

Grounds for use of personal data

The personal data provided by you is generally used to answer your queries, process your orders or provide you with access to specific information or offers. In order to maintain relations with customers, it may also be necessary for us or a service provider entrusted by us to use this personal data to inform you about product offers that are of benefit to your business activities or to conduct online surveys to better meet the tasks and requirements of our customers.

We will certainly respect your decision not to let us use your personal data to assist us in maintaining customer relations (in particular for the purposes of direct marketing or market research). We will not sell your personal data to a third party nor will we market your personal data in any other way.

Restricted use for specific purposes

We will collect, process and use the personal data you provide online when using this website for the above stated purposes. We will not pass on your personal data to a third party without your consent.

Personal data will only be collected and passed on to state institutions or authorities entitled to receive such information and within the framework of the relevant laws, or where we have been obliged to do so by court order. Our employees as well as those of external service companies are under obligation not to disclose any personal data and to comply with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act.

The following data is stored for organisational and technical reasons when you use our website: the names of the called up pages, the browser and operating system used, date and time of access, search engines used, names of downloaded files as well as your IP address.

The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

When using the data, there is a legitimate interest in data processing within the meaning of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

We evaluate this technical data anonymously and only for statistical purposes in order to continuously optimise our website and make our internet services even more attractive. This anonymised data is stored separately from personal data on secured systems that do not allow for identification of an individual person, so that your personal data and your privacy remain protected.

Duration of data storage

Your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Data can also be stored if this is provided for by the European or national legislator in Union regulations, laws or other provisions to which the controller is subject.
