Application Area
- Can be universally used for component thicknesses from 1.00 to 4.00 mm and tensile strength of up to 1000 MPa
- Can be joined in non-ferrous metals (e.g. aluminium)
- Suitable for a wide range of high static, impact and cyclic load cases
- Can be used to transfer shear forces in highly stressed structures
- Suitable for high loads in the axial direction of the joint
- Ideal for surface-treated, galvanized or painted components
Technical Characteristics
- Thread sizes: M5 to M12
- P.C. 8 or 10 (standard)
- Excellent sealing properties (>> IP67 depending on component thickness and material quality)
- Corrosion resistance according to customer requirements
- Simple, in-process and non-destructive quality control can be implemented
- No thermal structural change compared to welded elements
- High torsional resistance and push-out forces can be realized
